Miami #8 - Bayside Mall Revisited

Some more of what I saw while wandering to and from the Bayside mall.

This is an interesting piece called Duenos de las Estrellas.

This tree is near the Hard Rock Cafe Miami. Someone has braided the branches (tendrils?).

This nifty piece was made in memory of the shuttle Challenger explosion.

The sculpture seems to allow you to climb to the stars.

As someone coming from Colorado I found the shape of these trees to be rather exotic and rather fascinating. Not the kind of thing I get to see every day.

Here is the Dade County War Memorial honoring those from Dade county that lost their lives in war. Itr's very pretty but with it being as white as it is I was concerned I might not be visible with it in the background.

This statue of Claude Pepper was interesting to me because I haven't seen many statues that have glasses especially not done the way these were. Mr. Pepper has a statue for all the things he did in his life to make things better for the elderly.

I really like the idea behind the Liberty Column and what it represents.

Incredible detail on the hands of this sculpture.

It's a very symbolic. I really like how this shot came out.
